With the arrival of a new baby into the world, it's only natural to celebrate! A christening is a wonderful occasion to introduce the new baby to friends and family,
Our beautiful and bright premises create a beautiful setting for your child's christening. The large banqueting hall in white and gold for larger parties or a couple of banqueting hall lounges to gather the immediate family. The room has a sound system with four microphones for speeches.
We set the table with round tables with room for 8 guests at each table. Linen tablecloths and napkins, candle lanterns and flowers. You can also order/buy decorations that you like and that are suitable for the event. These can be napkins and tablecloths, and perhaps some nice decorations such as banners, garlands, streamers and pennants.

Food and drinks for the reception
After the baptism, it is customary to offer a baptismal coffee, lunch, or perhaps even dinner.
All the good food comes from our partner restaurant Grodan located in the same building. There are many different menu suggestions to choose from and you can of course have wishes.
Please consider any allergies your guests may have. We have a lot of experience and can offer alternatives Will there be many children at the party? Then it can be a good and fun idea to offer some simple children's food - sausages, pancakes, macaroni and fruit skewers are examples of popular dishes that usually go down well with children.
The churches located in our immediate vicinity are Hedvig Eleonora Church, Gustav Adolf Church and Oscar Church.

Guestbook to save
Have your guests write a greeting for the baby in a beautiful guest book, which you then keep. When the baby has grown up, you can have a priceless moment where you read all the greetings together.
Atmospheric music
It can be great to have some music both at the christening and during the reception, so ask a musician friend to play and/or sing some songs for the child.
Activating children
If children are coming to the celebration, make sure they have something to do. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate, it can be as simple as putting out a box of toys or taping drawing paper to the table and putting out crayons.
Godparent gift
Buy a godparent gift if the child has godparents. It can be a symbolic gift for the godparent to commemorate the christening day, such as a personalised piece of jewellery, a photo or anything else that symbolises the child's relationship with the godparent.
photographer
You can hire a professional photographer or ask someone you know to be responsible for taking the photos. After all, such an important day must be well documented!
Gift board
Reserve a table at the reception that becomes a gift table. Opening the christening gifts during the reception is also popular.
