Curiosities - Who was Wenström?
The premises are named in honour of Jonas Wenström, whose inventions had a major impact on industrial development. He is most often associated with the development of the three-phase system, for which he received a Swedish patent in 1891. Allmänna Svenska Elektriska AB (ASEA) was founded as early as 1883, based in part on Wenström's patent.
