This is how we will get through the coronavirus crisis
The world continues to be in a global crisis. The spread of coronavirus is creating challenges in all areas of society.
Sweden faces significant challenges and has many long-term issues on its political agenda. The labour market, integration, schooling, the housing market, and the fact that we don't seem to be reaching our environmental goals. To constructively contribute to solutions for a restart of Sweden that facilitates the path towards a long-term sustainable and competitive Sweden, IVA is driving the project. Sustainable fresh start for Sweden.
How the ICU works during the coronavirus crisis
With consideration to the status and development of Covid-19, we at IVA have decided to update our guidelines. By reducing our physical social contact, we at IVA contribute to reducing the risk of infection spreading in society.
Our joint guidelines also help to protect the health of both employees and people within IVA's network. Our analysis is based on the best available facts and the authorities' recommendations. Our guidelines are updated in accordance with The decision by Region Stockholm on stricter general advice in Stockholm County.
1. We advise against travel (both domestic and international) within the framework of IVA's activities.
2. Meetings, such as project and academic meetings, are held remotely. Please contact the meeting organiser, department secretary, or project manager for more information.
3. Seminars will be conducted remotely/streamed from our own premises.
4. We instruct IVA's staff to work from home as much as possible. This is to minimise the spread of infection in the community.
5. Individuals with even the slightest symptoms of illness (such as fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat) must participate in IVA's activities remotely until their symptoms have completely disappeared and for an additional two days. Follow the authorities' advice.
6. Individuals who have been in contact with someone infected with the virus must participate in IVA's activities remotely for 14 days. This also applies to IVA's network and visitors to IVA's premises.
Otherwise, work continues as usual.
8. IVA Conference Centre offers excellent opportunities for conducting remote meetings and events. The venues have also been adapted to current restrictions. Read more about the technology. here
