Taking into account the status and development of Covid-19, we at IVA have decided to update our guidelines. By reducing our physical social contacts, we at IVA contribute to reducing the risk of infection spread in society. Our joint guidelines also contribute to protecting the health of both employees and people in IVA's network. Our analysis is based on the best available facts and the authorities' recommendations.
Travel abroad within the scope of IVA's activities will cease, with no new trips to be booked or planned for the spring/summer (until 15 July).
2. Employees returning from travel to risk areas must work from home for 14 days, even if the person does not show any symptoms of illness. The same applies to individuals in IVA's network and other visitors. Please note that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all foreign travel. 3. Meetings, such as project and academic meetings, should be held remotely as far as possible. Contact the meeting organiser, department secretary, or project manager for more information.
4. Seminars and study visits will, where possible, be postponed, cancelled or conducted remotely/streamed (until 15 July).
5. We encourage IVA's staff to work from home. This is to minimise the spread of infection in the community.
6. Individuals who have been in contact with someone infected with the virus must participate in IVA's activities remotely for 14 days. This also applies to IVA's network and visitors to IVA's premises.
7. Individuals with even minor symptoms of illness (such as fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat) should participate in IVA's activities remotely until symptoms have completely disappeared, plus an additional two days. Follow official guidance.
8. If the IVA's partners have more far-reaching guidelines, we will follow those.
9. Otherwise, work is proceeding as usual.
