How is wine tasting organised?
A wine tasting is exactly what it sounds like: Tasting wine. By looking at the wine, smelling it and tasting it, you will analyse it and formulate what you experience. It is common for a wine tasting to have a theme, such as a country, a grape variety or a wine region.
During the tasting, the tasting leader (sommelier) goes through the different characteristics that characterise grape varieties and wine types. Under the guidance of the sommelier, you will then taste a selection of wines based on appearance, aroma, flavour and composition. It's the perfect opportunity to get wine tips to go with your favourite dishes!
